Hi everyone and welcome to my math blog! My name is Madeleine Campbell and I am in my 2nd year at Brock University in the Consecutive Education Program, J/I Division.
This blog will be discussing experiences, strategies and ideas revolving around math and how to effectively teach math to our students! As a student, I was fearful of math and the challenges it had; however, as a teacher, I have gained confidence and am now excited and love teaching math to students! This is because of the inquiry-based lessons, self-discovery, collaborative work periods and interesting manipulatives that are being used in today's classrooms!
